The A2Z Smart Music Group began as a vision over twenty years ago. Yvonne DeBandi, as a young teacher and perpetual student was dissatisfied with the trend of cutting performing arts education. As a young singer, she herself, she struggled with finding resources and teachers qualified to share the knowledge she thirsted for...contemporary music education.
While she enjoyed her studies at Florida State University and was fortunate enough to be part of the vocal jazz department development, there was so much more she needed to know about working in the REAL WORLD music industry.
After studying classical music for five years, she went on the road with a rock band, and so began her REAL WORLD education.
Many years later, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall right into place. The experiences she had received on the road, coupled with the formal education she had received put her in a unique position to fill the gaps she experienced as a training singer.
Today, Yvonne DeBandi continues to perform in the REAL WORLD of music with 5-10 professional gigs a week, teaches whenever she can and is fortunate enough to be surrounded with a team of brilliant fellow performers and visionaries that have helped bring the A2Z Smart Music Group to where we are today...and the exciting places we are going tomorrow.
